The findings from the gender review process can be used to inform the global and national work of governments and identify priorities for the government and development partners to focus on within education sectors. The ESA guidelines discuss analyzing gender disparities in enrollment and learning achievements, gender concerns and the social impact of education, and supply and demand issues on access and retention, among other issues.
