MST’s goal is to improve quality of life in Tanzania by dramatically improving access to and use of family planning and other reproductive health services.
We are looking for dynamic individuals to join our highly motivated team as Youth/Community Mobilisation Officer
JOB PURPOSE
The Youth/Community Mobilisation officer reports to a Project Manager and is responsible for the coordination of activities and technical inputs to the assigned component(s) in the project. For this position s/he is responsible with Youth and Community Mobilization component of the project. The Youth/Community Mobilization officer is responsible with Planning, Implementation and reporting of activities under the assigned component(s). Also s/he liaises with the Government to ensure the national approved guidelines and standards are available and utilized by the project.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Participate in project set-up
- Participate in the project planning at central and field level.
- Provide Technical assistance in the implementation of Youth and Community Mobilization Components of the project.
- Participate in monitoring and evaluation of project(s)
- Participate in project appraisal process
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Degree level in any health or social sciences field
• Training on cross cutting issues particular Youth and community mobilisation
• Additional qualification in project management desirable
EXPERIENCE
• 2 years of experience in coordinating or implementing Donor funded Projects
• 2 years of experience in working in the youth and community mobilisation interventions
• Experience in the fields of Reproductive and Child Health particular Family Planning and sexual reproductive health
• Experience collating information from various sources to produce reports for different audiences
