Overview:
The Bill, Hillary & Chelsea Clinton Foundation seeks an experienced and innovative Development professional with a proven track record working in a fast-paced environment in corporate, non-profit, and/or political fundraising.  This individual will be a key member of the Development Department’s annual giving operation and will manage a portfolio of mid-level individual donors and prospects.

This is a dynamic position for an entrepreneurial professional who enjoys front-line relationship building and working in a team-oriented environment.
Responsibilities:
  • Assist the Associate Director of Development in implementing the Department’s annual giving strategy and the Clinton Foundation Ambassadors program.
  • Increase the number of mid-level donors and upgrade the giving levels of existing donors participating in the annual giving program.
  • Identify, cultivate, solicit, and steward a portfolio of 200+ current and prospective donors.
  • Conduct program outreach and execute engagement events for Clinton Foundation Ambassadors.
  • Manage communications to Clinton Foundation Ambassadors, including regular newsletters, special updates, and program briefings.
  • Coordinate closely with other departments to advance donor engagement, cultivation, and stewardship.
  • Support the Chief Development Officer and other team members with projects that contribute to the Department’s overall goals and other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in professional fundraising and development. Experience in national or international organization a plus.
  • Demonstrated success managing and forging relationships with a wide range of donors.
  • Proven track record in soliciting and securing gifts.
  • Exceptional verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills, with a positive attitude.
  • A strong work ethic, supported by commitment and follow-through.
  • The ability to work as part of a team and also independently.
  • Ability to adapt quickly and to plan for and manage multiple projects while working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must be organized, creative, pro-active, detail-oriented, and strong ability to prioritize with superior time management and troubleshooting skills.
    • Principled, ethical, and committed to exceptional work quality and standards.
    • Passion for the Clinton Foundation’s mission and commitment to fundraising.
    • Ability to travel domestically and internationally.
    • Demonstrated skill in Microsoft Office, Raiser’s Edge, or other fundraising databases.

This position will report to Associate Director of Development, Annual Giving.
